The Math Zone is an open source research and educational endeavor, so we greatly appreciate your support and involvement!

If you discover a yearning to learn more about math (like we did early on too), we have plenty of resources to help. In particular, our Foundations of Math Books Collection will give you a very strong background to understand all of the basics, and you’ll be surprised at how far just a better understanding of basic algebra will take you. Going just a little further, an Algebra Combined With Trigonometry book will deliver you through the vast majority of anything you’ll ever encounter! Most people don’t realize how much of math, physics, and engineering relies on just these two fields alone, and they provide the critical cornerstone that makes up virtually all of higher math as well!

In addition to that, our Math Tools section gets into the fun stuff — which is just as powerful (if not even more powerful than the books) for helping you to learn and understand math. Nothing beats laying it down on paper or doing experiments with physical models, and Frank Chester himself would be the first one to tell you that! Anyone can benefit from using these tools, even if they have no book knowledge on the subject at all!
